Girls from Years 4, 5 and 6 were transported to Elsinore this week as they took part in Hamlet workshops before watching Hamlet at the National Theatre. The production was the reimagined version of this famous play by the most renowned playwright of all time.
The story of a young adult struggling to come to terms with the recent death of his father was presented in an easy-to-follow way, packed with songs and dancing, while keeping the original lines from Shakespeare’s masterpiece. The actors kept interacting with the audience throughout the show, making everyone feel as though they were all part of the play.
