Douce de Boisgelin and Elena Palano have had an extremely busy two weeks representing both Knightsbridge and England in various fencing tournaments.

The first competition took place on home soil at the Elite Epee Tournament. Although competing separately, Douce and Elena won all of their matches, which led them through to the U16 final. The girls had to compete for the top two places, which was tough as they are such good friends. Elena finished the tournament with the silver medal and Douce took the gold! Last week, the girls travelled to Budapest to compete in the Olympic International Championships. The girls enjoyed some excellent results. Both girls have been asked to represent England in an international competition in Poland at the end of March. We are already looking forward to hearing about their success, and wish them all the very best!
