Last Friday 22nd April, Year 1 celebrated Earth Day by making their own Earth Day crowns and writing their own pledges about how they will look after the environment. Ideas they came up with included using reusable water bottles, recycling via different types of bins, educating others about the environment and doing a sponsored litter pick up! Last week in English they also discussed plastic pollution and ways in which they can help solve the plastic problem. Well done Year 1!
