Drama Scholars enjoyed a fun end of term theatre trip on Monday evening to see the feel-good musical ‘Sister Act’, currently playing at the Dominion Theatre starring Alexandra Burke, Ruth Jones, Lee Mead and Lemar. We all loved the comedy scenes and exaggerated characterisation in the show which had us in fits of laughter. There were some stand out vocal performances throughout from all of the leads. Favourite songs for us were ‘Raise Your Voice’, ‘The Life I Never Led’ and ‘Fabulous’, and we also really enjoyed the fabulous set, costumes and harmonies in the show. We were all up dancing by the end for the final bows. Special thanks go to Mrs Norris for helping us on the trip and also to the wonderful Miss Stevens for all her help with organising. This was a great way to celebrate the Drama scholars’ hard work over the year. Looking forward to more theatre trips together next year!
