Last night, we were delighted to welcome dozens of exhibitors and speakers to our Careers Fair, which was focused on Science & Sustainability.

Students were treated to a fantastic range of speakers, from vertical farming experts to reef conservation, and biofuels to CPO26 advisors. Exhibitors included experts from the world of environmental law, materials science, medicine and surgery and pharmaceutical companies. Years 11 and 12 and a great many parents also enjoyed a fantastic sustainable fashion show, designed and directed by Lower Sixth student Samara C as part of her Extended Project Qualification. Some students were surprised to see that so many careers now require a sustainability focus in order to do their part to mitigate the effects of climate change – from the sustainable operating theatre to green technology and investment banking. We are so grateful to the exhibitors and speakers who gave their time to inform and educate our students further about their careers.
