This year’s Autumn Concert was, as always, a fabulous showcase of everything the Music Department has to offer, involving well over 200 pupils (and necessitating two performances which was fantastic).

Highlights included an exhilarating performance of Samba by all of year 8, beautifully co-ordinated, as well as the Year 7 showing off their newly acquired brass instrument skills and their huge energy and creativity with a performance of body percussion. The choirs sang beautifully, Senior String Ensemble were sublime and Elizabeth Heywood inspired us with her huge talent on the marimba. Many congratulations to everyone who took part and to the ever hard-working teachers in the Music Department.
