Next Friday 4th March marks the 141st School Birthday!
This is a very special day for Francis Holland and so one that is full of celebrations! Along with all the girls and teachers in the Senior School, the day will start with a trip to St Columba’s Church in Belgravia. Here there will be a special service in which we give thanks and celebrate our wonderful school. The girls will then return to school for a few exciting birthday surprises!
On the school birthday, it is traditional for the girls to adorn their hair with daffodils! Please see some gorgeous examples below from our 139th birthday service.
Please do not worry if you don’t have time to venture to the shops! The Friends of Francis Holland will be selling bunches of daffodils at the Carmel Entrance and in the playground next Wednesday and Thursday.
Please remember that School Birthday is also a half day for all the girls. The Junior School will finish at 12 noon: collection from the playground as normal.
