We were delighted to welcome so many prospective candidates for 11+ entry in September 2024, and their families, to our Open Morning on Wednesday 20th September.

It was great to hear from our incoming Head, Mrs Alexandra Haydon, who will be joining us from Millfield School in January 2024, about her exciting vision for FHS and how she recognises our amazing school community as one shaped by the clear understanding that children who feel loved, cared for and supported go on to achieve extraordinary things.

We were also treated to excellent speeches by girls in Year 9 and the Sixth Form, before a brilliant Q&A with many astute questions from our prospective Year 7s! The morning concluded with tours of the school by Year 8 students, who have received fantastic feedback from our attendees.

Thank you to all our speakers, tour guides and guests, and we very much look forward to welcoming Mrs Haydon in January.
