On Tuesday morning, we welcomed prospective pupils for entry into Year 7 and their families to our first 11+ Open Morning of the Autumn Term. Our Head, Alexandra Haydon, Sixth Formers and Year 8 pupils spoke about what makes our Francis Holland community so exceptional. Mrs Haydon discussed our distinctive emphasis on pupil happiness and wellbeing which ensures pupils truly feel known, able to pursue their passions and therefore able to achieve remarkable things. This was supported by our Sixth Form and Year 8 pupils, who spoke enthusiastically about their favourite aspects of FHS life, including the wealth of dramatic, artistic, musical, sporting and other co-curricular opportunities on offer, with over 80 clubs per week, getting to know our Hungarian Vizsla therapy dog, Kanga, and enjoying the delicious school food! This was followed by tours of the school by Year 8 pupils, for which we have already received excellent feedback. Thank you so much to everybody who contributed to the success of the morning, and to all our guests, who we hope to see again soon!
We look forward to welcoming more prospective pupils and their families to our 11+ Open Morning next Wednesday, and our 11+ Open Evening on Wednesday 9th October. If you are interested  in 11+ entry in September 2025, please visit our open events page to book onto one of these events. 11+ registration for September 2025 closes on 8th November 2024.
