On Wednesday evening, we welcomed our Year 11 pupils and families, as well as external candidates interested in Sixth Form entry in September 2025, to our annual Sixth Form Information Evening.
Our Head, Mrs Haydon, Head of Sixth Form, Clare Stansfield, Head Girl, Eva, Sixth Form Ambassador, Lydia, spoke about our national award-winning Sixth Form education at FHS, describing the unrivalled leadership, public-speaking and enterprise opportunities on offer, including our TEDx programme and excellent weekly Sixth Form Speaker Programme. They also discussed our amazing Futures & Innovation programme which focuses on the World Economic Forum skills for the future including story-telling, oracy and emotional intelligence. This sees our students go on to study a diverse range of courses from Agriculture to Neuroscience at top UK and international universities, as well as winning places on top degree internships and at world-renowned art and drama schools. The evening culminated with our guests being given tours of our state of the art Sixth Form Centre, the Old School House, by current UVI students, who were fantastic ambassadors for our FHS community.
