Our Outreach Superstars of the week this week are the OVER 40 Year 7 pupils who stayed behind after school on Wednesday to wrap presents for the young people and Elders at the Katherine Low Settlement. Helped by Ms Beaumont, Mrs Lorimer, Miss Brown and Miss Stephens, as well as the wonderful SSPA volunteers, the girls wrapped well over 100 presents that will be given out to those in need at Christmas time. In classic FHS fashion, they were so effective that everything was wrapped up (hehe) twice as quickly as anticipated.

The presents were then delivered to KLS by the Y7 Form captains and deputies on Thursday, who also had a tour of the settlement and had the honour of putting up the Christmas tree and lights in the main foyer – a task that Year 7 form captains have done for over a decade!

We are so grateful to the SSPA for their kind donations, and to parents Alex Burke and Jennifer Renwick for their stewardship of this important initiative.
