Year 2 set sail last Friday on a trip to The Golden Hinde! We were lucky enough to have beautiful sunshine so luckily no shipwreck at sea. The girls took part in a brilliant workshop called ‘The Voyage of The Golden Hinde’ during which they got into character as different historical figures such as Francis Drake – the notoriously ‘good’ pirate! We were able to experience life on board this 16^th century galleon through handling different replica in a hands-on exploration of the ship.
