On Wednesday, Reception visited The Postal Museum and became posties for the day. First, we enjoyed a fun-filled workshop on the theme of The Jolly Postman in which the girls learnt how post is collected, sorted, and delivered. After lunch, we went on to enjoy the play area which was sack-loads of fun! We visited a charming mini town complete with post offices, letter boxes, soft play and even a sorting area. The highlight of the trip was the mail rail where we journeyed back in time through the original tunnels of London’s postal railway. We were all entranced by the experience.
