On Friday 23rd February, Year 6 had the privilege of visiting St Paul’s Cathedral with professional artist, Chloe Campbell.

The girls sketched the centre of the cathedral before venturing up into the dome. They were delighted by the Whispering Gallery, which allowed them to whisper to one another from opposite ends of the gallery and still be clearly heard. Although the stairs were winding and narrow, even those girls with a fear of heights made it to the top of the dome and we all enjoyed the spectacular views of London. In the afternoon, Chloe showed the girls how to turn their sketches into papercuts, with some beautiful results.
