On Monday 25th March, our Year 6 girls visited Hampton Court Palace.
The trip marked the final part of their Tudor Banquet preparations, which will take place on Friday 29th March.
‘We can’t wait for our banquet – swans, peacocks and pigeon pies, we have it all!‘ Sofiya said.
The sun shone all day and so Year 6 made the most of not only the palace but the beautiful gardens too. The girls took part in two workshops: first, a talk on the order and workings of the Tudor kitchens, and second, a lesson on the palace hierarchy and life of the King.
‘Hampton Court palace is a fantastic celebration of Tudor history!‘ Milla said.
