Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Foster and Partners on Tuesday.

They were lucky enough to experience a tour around the main studio as well as the Sketch Model Shop, Material Research Centre and the Albion. With stunning river views and beautiful architecture, it was a real treat! The girls explored materials, machines and designs and saw amazing model replicas of many famous buildings around London.

The design workshop was a great introduction to the exciting Art in Architecture competition that they are working on with Miss Van Kamp. This is a great opportunity to use their creative thinking and problem solving to redesign a community space in London.
