Our Economics Club focuses on the strategies that popular brands use to influence consumer behaviour. As economics students, we will be using what we have learnt ourselves to guide each session, where we study real-world examples of marketing tactics, pricing methods, and psychological tricks that brands have used to influence purchasing decisions. The club is mainly tailored towards the younger years, but due to the nature of the content a basic level of economic understanding would be helpful. The aim is to help members become more knowledgeable and allow them to make more informed and rational economic choices.
