Last night’s EPQ Presentation Evening was a truly inspiring showcase of intellectual curiosity, eloquence, and confidence. Students from across the year presented the culmination of months of independent research, sharing their Extended Project Qualifications on an impressively broad range of topics, from the global rise of Korean entertainment to the transformative power of occupational therapy.
What stood out most was the passion each presenter brought to their subject. Every student spoke with clarity and poise, communicating complex ideas with an ease that belied the depth of their work. Their confidence was particularly evident not only in their prepared speeches but also in how they handled live questions from the audience. The Q&A sessions offered a valuable glimpse into the students’ critical thinking and their ability to engage with their subject matter under pressure, skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
The evening celebrated more than academic achievement; it highlighted essential skills such as public speaking, research, time management, and resilience. The girls demonstrated maturity and enthusiasm, engaging the audience with both knowledge and personality. It was a proud moment for all involved and a clear reflection of the high standards and supportive environment at FHS! Well done, girls!
