On Thursday morning, a handful of us went over to the Junior School to read with all the different years. It was a lovely experience that proved to be relaxing, rewarding and joyful. Having been asked to read with Reception, I was genuinely so impressed with their reading skills and had a wonderful time getting to know the girls.

I had a physics test straight after reading with them and must admit it was the last thing on my mind as I was so invested in spending time with the little ones, and I’m sure all the other girls would say the same. It was without a doubt something we would love to do again – we’re going to miss all the ‘Good Mornings!’, hugs and high fives!!

If the opportunity presents itself again, we’ll be the first ones at Mrs Dixon’s door.
