In their final Enrichment session on Thursday, the Year 11s were treated to a wonderful talk by Tara Patel, mother of two of our pupils.

Mrs Patel, speaking without notes or visual aids, and undeterred by the sight of her entire audience in fancy dress, told a compelling story of personal failures and setbacks, new directions and eventual success: the perfect message for students on the eve of their GCSE experience. She emphasised how believing in what you’re doing – in her case investing in sustainable projects and infrastructure – makes all the difference.

We are so grateful to Mrs Patel for coming in and giving the girls the benefit of her hard-earned wisdom.
