Last Friday, our Year 10 GCSE geographers embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Iceland.

Some highlights have included investigating a magnificent lava tunnel, climbing the Solheimajokull “sun house” glacier, swimming in the secret lagoon natural hot springs, marvelling at the Gullfoss Waterfall and exploring a Black Sand beach

As well as discovering the breath-taking natural beauty and wonders of this amazing country, the girls have gained invaluable experience that will bring their GCSE coursework to life. Thank you to the Geography Department for organising this incredible trip.
