On Wednesday evening, the Year 10 GCSE drama group took to the stage to perform their devised pieces of theatre as part of their coursework.

The girls worked practically and collaboratively to devise pieces of theatre based on a chosen stimulus. The, very contrasting, stimuli used were: The Berlin Wall (a historical event) and Ill Manors (a song).

Each group incorporated elements of physical theatre, choreographed movement sequences and multi-rolling, inspired by Bertolt Brecht.  The girls wrote their own scripts and individually they all composed poignant and compelling monologues.

Well done, girls!
