On Tuesday 3rd February Year 6 were fortunate to take part in a unique learning experience that took them behind the scenes at the Sky Studios.
The girls gained an insight into careers in the media industry.
With a team of dedicated Sky specialists the girls got to experience the following:
- A behind the scenes tour of the Sky Studios
- A hands on learning experience at the Skills Studios where the girls created their own television report
- A chance to work with a team of experts and cutting edge technology
- A screening of their news report as well as a USB stick to take it home!
During the experience the girls focused on 5 key learning skills:
- Creativity
- Self-Management
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Problem Solving
