On Wednesday 14th January, Year 4 visited The British Museum to support their most recent History topic ‘The Anglo-Saxons’.

The girls were able to experience, first hand, a wealth of Anglo-Saxon objects, including materials from the famous Sutton Hoo ship burial. Year 4 were delighted to have the opportunity to see some of the artefacts which they had studied, such as jewellery and weapons.

They also learnt about new objects and their significance for Anglo-Saxon life.
