Never before had we seen so much snow at Easter!
The conditions were perfect, particularly at the start of the week, as we got to know to this amazing resort. Going “to the top” meant skiing on the glacier at 3200m altitude where the wind was gale force and the temperatures as low as -16 degrees. Lower down, though, it was much nicer. All the girls who went made excellent progress and really enjoyed themselves. Les Deux Alpes has so much to offer as a resort, and I am sure we will return again soon.
After a day on the slopes, the fun continued with activities such as ice-skating, ten-pin bowling and swimming on offer. The consensus was that sliding down a steep slope on an inflated inner tube before being flung into the air at high speeds towards a huge inflatable was perhaps the most fun of all. As always, FHS ruled the dance floor at the disco on the last night.
The deadline to sign up for the 2019 trip to Austria is 4th May!
