On Thursday 7th February, harpsichordist, conductor and teacher Yat-Soon Yeo gave a thought-provoking talk as part of our ongoing Sixth Form Speaker Programme.
Using the infamous “Girl with a Pearl Earring” painting by Johannes Vermeer as the starting point of his discussion, Yat-Soon asked Sixth Formers what songs would feature on her Spotify Playlist – had the application existed four centuries ago.
Staff and Students particularly enjoyed Yat-Soon’s perfomances on the harpsichord. Overall, it was a truly thought engaging, interactive and enjoyable talk.
