This week we had the privilege of welcoming Stephanie Ferrario to our Speaker Programme, who is the founder of the SheCan movement, which aims to empower all women alive today and in the future in the workplace.

This movement involves the largest online library ever created of female role models to inspire our generation. It was incredible to hear from an entrepreneurial perspective how Stephanie managed to fight against gender inequality in so many ways. In particular, her mention of the importance of girls like us to be aware of things like the gender data gap was so important. We discussed how she came to have this idea, and what struck her so about the importance of empowering women in the workplace.

We were delighted to hear of her future plans to make SheCan a profitable business where money continues to be channelled back into the hands of women and girls across the globe.
