On Wednesday 20th September, we were delighted to welcome prospective Sixth Formers and their families, along with our current Year 11s, to our Sixth Form Information Evening. As our Year 11s and prospective students prepare to take their GCSEs and progress into A Level study, the atmosphere throughout the evening was one of anticipation and excitement as girls explored their options and envisioned themselves as FHS Sixth Formers. The evening commenced with talks from our incoming Head, Alexandra Haydon, Head of Sixth Form, Ms Stansfield and two Year 13 students, Anna and Pippa. Guests were then invited to tour our inspirational Sixth Form Centre, the Old School House, to explore a carousel of subject stands and meet with teaching staff and current students.

It was wonderful to see the Old School House buzzing with prospective Sixth Formers ready to take on the challenges and independence of A Level study, and we can’t wait for them to join us next September. Thank you to all who joined us!
