On Friday 3rd April, our Sixth Form Afternoon Tea Group had their first virtual meeting!

The Afternoon Tea Group ‘visited’ the ‘George IV: Art & Spectacle’ exhibition which would normally be showing at The Queen’s Gallery. Now, they have constructed an online exhibition where you can ‘visit’ the rooms where the paintings have been hanging, zoom in to look at them, and read the information labels hanging alongside the works of art!

They managed a sixteen person conversation very well, without people talking over each other or saying ‘No, you go next’ as on the comedy videos, and they swapped news about what the National Theatre is streaming, the books that people are reading, and the fact that the stars can now be seen at night in London! Their next meeting is on 24th April!
