On Friday 10th November 2023, the whole school gathered in the playground for our annual act of Remembrance.

We remembered all those who have given their lives in service of their country. We offered to God our prayers for peace in the world and in our own lives, led by Revd. van der Hart. An ensemble of musicians, both staff and pupils, marked the occasion with Elgar’s Nimrod. The Last Post rang out as all staff and pupils held a 2 minute silence.

As part of our marking of Remembrance this year, Revd. van der Hart invited pupils and staff to write a prayer for peace and hang it on a prayer tree to pray for peace in our world.
