This week, Reception have been learning about Diwali, the festival of light, with the help of some parent visitors. The girls listened to the story of Rama and Sita and learnt how the festival is celebrated around the world. They then tried their hand at making beautiful rangoli patterns with sand and tasted some delicious samosas made by Anushka’s granny. The girls learnt so much about the festival and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. We all want to say a huge thank you to the parents who came into Reception and made the Diwali celebrations so special.
