This week, the Reception girls embarked on their first of many trips to Belgrave Square for their weekly outdoor learning session. After reading the story of The Three Little Pigs, the girls made their own houses using bricks, hay and sticks. They planned their designs, considered what materials to use, and thought about ways to keep the pigs safe from the Wolf. The girls produced an array of structural masterpieces, each with a feature to stop the Big Bad Wolf from coming into their house. We then headed to the playground to climb, swing, jump, crawl and slide before heading back to school. Overall, it was a very successful first Forest School session and we look forward to another adventure at Belgrave Square next week.
