Run by childrens mental health charity Place2Be, the Awards recognise the passion, determination and hard work that goes into the delivery of mental health and wellbeing support in the charitys partner schools across the country.
Place2Be Chief Executive Catherine Roche said: All too often we are surrounded by stories of childrens mental health in crisis. Sadly, we hear less about the brilliant efforts made every day to support children and young people in UK schools. To redress this, Place2Bes Wellbeing in Schools Awards recognise and showcase the remarkable work and commitment to promote mental health across our partner schools in the UK.
Our Headmistress, Lucy Elphinstone, said: “I am honoured that the focus we place on the wellbeing of pupils and staff at Francis Holland is being recognised by Place2Be. Building resilience and helping children manage anxiety, pressure and depression are priorities for us and it is wonderful to see families transformed through the support of our counsellors.”
Place2Be has been working with FHS since 2015, supporting children with their mental health improvement.
