This week Year 6 went to the Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank warehouse to sort donations and find out more about the important work of the foodbank. They sorted about 750kg of donations, including all of the donations collected at FHS on Tuesday morning, and asked lots of questions. They were most interested to hear about the extra support that the foodbank offers to those living so nearby in our community in need of help. It’s not just a parcel of food – it’s help to access resources and support, which can be so difficult to do when you are vulnerable or struggling with other difficulties.

We are so proud of the work we do to support the foodbank and Year 6 were delighted to play their part in the important work they do!
