Our final Outreach Superstars of the Week are Mr Dyson, Miss McKinley, Miss Newsome and Dr Upcott, who will be running the Asics 10K on Sunday 9th July in aid of In Deep. Our ‘Sunshine’ Mufti Day on Tuesday raised £371, which will definitely speed them on their way!

We’ve been raising money for In Deep all through this year with the aim of raising £5000 to fully fund their wonderful Summer Music Therapy Workshop, which we’ll host for the second year in a row this year. The In Deep Music Therapy programme is a fantastic initiative in which young people with particular learning needs or disabilities are able to express themselves through music.  As well as their summer workshop, these sessions happen throughout the year (and three of our Y12 students volunteer at these sessions too!) I’m absolutely delighted to say that this final ‘dash for the line’ has meant we have reached our target of raising £5000 for In Deep, and have in fact raised £5007. A photo finish!
