Last weekend, we attended an MUN Conference at St Paul’s. It was an engaging and dynamic experience. Delegates passionately debated pressing global issues, from social to economic and environmental, offering innovative solutions and demonstrating deep research.

The day began with opening speeches, where delegates from each country outlined their positions, setting the tone for the focused discussions. Committee sessions were filled with intense negotiations, alliances forming, and the drafting of resolutions. The atmosphere was vibrant, as delegates navigated procedural challenges and diplomatic strategies.

Lunch provided a change of scene and pace, allowing informal networking and the sharing of ideas with other delegates. In the afternoon, the conference culminated in all committees coming together and there was a final resolution which was criticised by countries as a whole.

Overall, we enjoyed a day of collaboration, critical thinking and diplomacy. We learnt so much from our experiences, enabling us to explore new, niche ideas and really think outside our comfort zones.
