In the cold but beautiful church of St Mary’s Battersea, looking out over the south bank of the river, The Sixth Form Choir took themselves to sing at a Carol Service in aid of one of the School Charities, KLS (Katherine Low Settlement), a repeat of last year where they were extremely well received.  To a packed church they performed an impressive performance of the tradition German carol, ‘In Dulci Jubilo’, as well as joining in with the regular church choir to sing the traditional Sussex Carol and supporting the congregation carols with, as always, lusty descants too!

Well done to the Sixth Form Choir, almost 20 students strong, who rehearsed and prepared themselves for this concert (with only minimum help from teachers!), and in particular, to Mika in the Upper Sixth, who conducted the group.  A lovely warm-up to the School Carol Service later this week.
