On 28th February the Lower Sixth girls and parents attended a comprehensive evening on preparation for post 18 education. Applications to UK, European and US universities were covered as well as plans for Gap Years.

We were delighted to welcome Allegra Dowley and Diana James, Alumni of FHS who described their time at University and gave plenty of advice for girls planning their careers. Alongside this, Eleni and Romane in the Upper Sixth gave an overview of their experience of going through the application process and offered tips on how they coped through the UCAS timeline. Ms Rinck spoke about Oxbridge Applications and Miss Arlington gave advice on Art Schools in the UK.

Despite the overwhelming volume of material, girls and parents left feeling confident they were in safe hands.
