This week we celebrated the Gym, Dance and Ballet Show, using the power of International Women’s Day, marked on 8th March, to recognise the resilience, courage, and unwavering strength of women in our school and across the world. What better way to demonstrate that strength than through gymnastics, dance and ballet!
The show explored themes of breaking biases, acknowledging the challenges women face in the fight for equality, emphasising the importance of taking action, and celebrating the power of supporting one another.
A special section of the show focused on the school’s Creative Perspectives on Climate Change project, in collaboration with Cape Farewell. These performances brought to life both the beauty of our natural world and the urgent need to protect it, reminding us that just as art can move an audience, it can also move the world toward change.
The show was a true celebration of strength and unity, proving that women’s power is unstoppable. Congratulations to all the pupils and teachers who dedicated their time, skill and passion to the show, celebrating what it truly means to be a woman!
