Our GCSE Performance Recital, on the evening of 13^th November, was a very special event. Under the dimmed lights of Carmel Hall, on the Music Department’s new grand piano, a number of musicians performed pieces from the Renaissance to the modern day. The event was attended by a number of parents and staff, who all settled into a lovely evening of really wonderful music. Quite aside from the event forming up to 30% of the students’ marks at GCSE, the performances were a chance for FHS girls to show off their considerable vocal and instrumental skills. They should be very proud of themselves – we certainly are!
