On Tuesday 31st October, our GCSE musicians took to the Carmel Hall Studio Theatre to perform a delightful evening of music. The pieces they performed, ranging from a moving Bach ‘cello solo to Dire Straits’ groovy ‘Sultans of Swing‘, will form part of their GCSE Music Performance Portfolios. The evening was made all the more special by having two sets of FHS sisters performing their pieces, with Victoria and Iona collaborating on a Viotti violin duet and cellist Amalia joined by her sister Teresa (FHS alumna; Class of 2023) to perform F.A.Kummer’s No.1 of Drei Duos fur 2 violoncelles. Huge well done to all who performed!
