The GCSE Art Show this year was special. So many students, parents and staff attended, cramming into the art rooms, even four of my ex students came to the show.

I was so proud of the girls this evening. All the hard work in the classroom and at home came together in a varied and exciting exhibition of work, from installations to textiles to ceramics, even a rather disturbing sculpture of Donald Trump!
I would like to thank Miss Arlington for her help in building the show and designing the wonder posters and invitations and Anna Barlow, a international ceramicist, who kindly gave up her time to view the show and selected the Best of Show and the runner up.
Congratulations to Lin Yap for Best Of Show and Fleur Collins for Second Prize.
