Performed by a talented ensemble of FHS students in Years 7-13, Guys and Dolls will be performed on Friday 27th January and Saturday 28th January at Riverside Studios, Hammersmith’s iconic arts centre (and a former filming location of Dr Who!) situated on the bank of the River Thames.

With the bustling streets of 1950s New York as a backdrop, Guys and Dolls follows the most unlikely of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary; a hopelessly romantic showgirl and a suave gambler desperate to find a location for his craps game. Quintessentially American in spirit, this Golden Age musical remains a timeless tale that owes its longevity not only to its multitude of memorable characters and hummable tunes (ā€˜Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat’, ā€˜Luck Be A Lady’, ā€˜Marry the Man Today’…), but also to its enduring themes of ambition and self-made luck.

Tickets are now SOLD OUT for both nights – hope you managed to nab yours and enjoy the show!

Story and Characters: Damon Runyon; Music and Lyrics: Frank Loesser; Book: Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows
