In a remarkable display of creativity, Year 8 and 9 students in Curious Club presented innovative biomimicry projects aimed at solving real-world problems. The students designed a product aimed at solving problems from extreme temperature to improving athletic performance. They then pitched their product to a panel to ask for funding. The winning team, UpGlove, captivated the audience with their gecko and ibis-inspired gloves designed to enhance grip for rock climbing. Congratulations to all teams for their ingenious products and for showcasing their impressive problem-solving skills through biomimicry. The future looks bright with such inventive minds in our school community!
