On Tuesday 15th February, Year 6 headed to the Apollo Theatre for a Creative Writers Workshop in preparation for entering this years Wicked Young Writers Awards.
Run in association with the National Literacy Trust, the event featured a performance from a cast member of the West End production Wicked. The talk was given by the Awards Ambassador, best-selling author of the Jamie Johnson series, Dan Freedman. The girls then had the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Dan’s latest novel, ‘Unstoppable’.
Watch Out! We will be launching the competition across the school in the first week back after half term and hope that lots of girls will be inspired to enter.
