Last week, children in Years 4-6 were invited to take part in a Tree Topper Competition for local schools run by a former Francis Holland pupil in conjunction with Chelsea Barracks. Honourable mentions and the overall winner from each year group will be announced at a fabulously festive gathering at Chelsea Barracks on Thursday 1st December from 5:30-7:30pm where the children will see their designs displayed. The overall winners will have their designs brought to life by being made into a real tree-topper and given pride of place on one of the Chelsea Barracks’ Christmas trees.

Please do come along to this special event to see the lights switched on, the trees with the winning tree topper designs, Mr and Mrs Claus, elves, reindeer and a choir. Have a mince pie, hot chocolate or two and enjoy the show!

All of the children’s design entries will be part of an exhibition in the Garden Room, Garrison Square, Chelsea Barracks (opposite the Chapel). As well as the main event on 1st December, Years 4 and 5 are invited to see their entries on display in the Garden Room on Monday 28th November from 4.00pm to 6.00pm and Year 6 are invited along on Tuesday 29th November from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
