On Wednesday 13th February, the Senior Chamber Choir went to sing Choral Evensong at St George’s Chapel, Windsor for the second year running. The Choir sang the same repertoire that they performed last week at St Paul’s Cathedral, including Canticles (Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis) by the contemporary composer Ben Parry and a newly commissioned Anthem, ‘I will sing a new song’ by Jonathan Willcocks.

The music was beautifully sung by the Chamber Choir and worked well in the intimate atmosphere of St George’s Chapel. Many thanks to Mr Jeanes for playing the organ, Miss Davidson for being the cantor and Mrs Floyd and Miss Lee for bolstering the choir.
