Well, after such a long time, we finally had our modified combined GCSE and A Level Art Show this week.

What a pleasure it was to see past students and parents back in the Art department! Art and online lessons were certainly a challenge, for both student and teacher, but the girls rose to the occasion, set up ‘camp’ in their spaces at home and continued being creative, imaginative and conscientious.

The results were wonderful! I invited Miss Coleman, who taught the girls in the first year of their respective A Level and GCSE courses, to make her decision for the Best of Show prize. Raphaella H won the GCSE Best of Show and Iris J won the A Level Best of Show.

I would personally like to thank Miss Edgeley who played a very important part sharing the teaching of the A Level to the Year 13.

Thank you to all the girls, parents and staff who visited the show, you made it a very special event.
