The week before Half Term has been jam packed full of fundraising fun, organised by our legendary Head of Outreach Mr Galloway.

As well as Harvest Festival Collections and our extremely competitive Inter-House Bake Sales, we have also run a Brown Paper Book Store and a ‘Dress as your Teacher’ Mufti Day!

Our Brown Paper Book Store, where girls wrapped up treasured second hand books in brown paper with personal messages in order to raise money for KLS, took place at breaktimes throughout the week and was a great success across multiple year groups.

Our ‘Dress as your Teacher’ Mufti Day on Friday was thoroughly enjoyed by all with some cracking costumes including doppelgängers of Miss Kay, Miss Vyas, Dr Hayes, Mr Trussell, of course Mr Galloway and a veritable army of Mr Taylors!!

This means that, true to our ethos of being the difference in society, the girls of FHS have raised over £1250 for good causes this week alone. Well done girls, we’re so proud of all of you and hope you enjoy a happy and relaxing Half Term break.
