On Thursday 15th January a group of Year 10 students had an afternoon’s public speaking workshop, which was led by Edie Lush.

Edie Lush, a journalist and communications coach, has established her reputation both here and in the United States through her high-profile work in both the public and private sectors. She studied Political Science at UCLA and International Relations at Yale. She has worked with industry and government, as a political analyst and as an expert on international relations.

Edie Lush has also been a journalist, working as an economics and political correspondent, in addition to her role as a former director of Intelligence Squared Festivals. Among her other commitments, Edie Lush is currently a coach at Charlotte McDougall Associates. ? Students built their confidence for public speaking and they learnt how to effectively communicate their message and ideas. There was laughter too, and much fun was had by all!
